Luria Broth Agar 1.5%

For pouring plates
In a 2 L plastic flask, add 25 g of LB powder to 1 L H₂O.
Stir into solution with magnetic stir bar.
Add 15 g of BactoAgar.
Stir an additional 1 minute.
Autoclave for a full 30 minutes, with stir bar in flask.
After sterilization, stir at room temperature until ~ 50°C.
When cool enough, add appropriate selective antibiotic.
Stir for well to ensure a homogenous mixture.
Pour into 1029 petri dishes when cooled.
Store at 4°C.
