0.5 M EDTA pH 8.0

For 500 ml:

400 ml H₂O, heat and stir
93 g EDTA
8 g NaOH pellets
Stir until solution is colorless and clear
Adjust pH to 8.0
Adjust volume to 500ml, autoclave
